South Surrey Cycles began in October 2005 when Scot Garrett and Barry Dalziel (both long time south Surrey residents) took over the old White Rock Cycle building in White Rock. Due to local development, we relocated to our current site (#105 - 2055 152 Street next to Dairy Queen) in September 2006. Note that parking is located at the rear of the building (off 151A St.) .
"People don't buy bikes, they buy the cycling experience"
By understanding our customers requirements (rather than pushing products) the focus is on the customer, with the objective of satisfying their needs and desires. Service and respect are at the centre of this focus, as we consider ourselves a service organisation rather than a product focussed company.
We pride ourselves in being heavily involved in the riding community in South Surrey / White Rock. We participate and sponsor local cycling advocacy groups (e.g. SORCE off-road club), as well as such organizations as the Parkinson's Ride, and the local White Rock O-5-O Bicycle Club (for the over 50's age group). We are heavily involved in organizing and managing local races (the Tour de White Rock, the JunkYard Dog Race, and My First Mountain Bike Race), and our nationally certified cycling coaches provide coaching and mentoring services.
In addition, we provide maintenance clinics, spinning classes, hill climbing session, and regular group rides. So, come on in and see what we can do for you. You will be glad you did!
Bike and Product Stuff
We carry a wide selection of bikes and riding gear for all purposes. Whether your passion is road, cross-country, free ride/downhill, cyclocross, or BMX, we can provide you with the bicycles, parts, accessories, and clothing to keep you riding. We feature Cannondale, Giant, Kona, Redline, and WTP bikes. We can also order in many other manufacturers equipment.
As you may have noted, the web site is very limited at the moment. We are a bike shop and not a web development company, so our site is somewhat basic. However, we are gradually developing the site to include additional product and service information, a calendar of events, and an access point to the various bicycle focussed resources. Please bear with us as the site is developed, and if you have any suggestions please feel free to contact us at
